Biography

Dr. Billings is board certified in orthopaedic surgery. His areas of interest include Primary and Revision Knee and Shoulder Replacement as well as Sports Medicine. In this field, he enjoys working one on one with his patients, treating everyone like family throughout their treatment journey.

Arthroscopic shoulder and knee replacements are the most common procedures performed by Dr. Billings. Besides these, he also provides outpatient surgery, digital X-rays, and joint injections, including hyaluronic acid and PRP.

Dr. Billings chose to work in healthcare inspired by his father, who was also a physician. However, he gained an interest in sports medicine while playing college basketball. Ortho residents would take an active role in helping him and his teammates, showing him his future path.

What sets Dr. Billings apart is the patience and compassion he has for his patients. He also credits his experience and competitive nature to his great success and improved patient outcomes.

Before coming to The Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Billings worked as the Team Physician for the Orlando Magic, UCF, Orlando Solar Bears and the Orlando Titans. He also worked as an associate instructor at UCF and FSU.
