Biography

Andrew J. Stiene, MD, MS, is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Orthopaedic Sports

Medicine, shoulder replacement, and knee replacement. With advanced training in sports

medicine and joint preservation, Dr. Stiene is dedicated to helping patients of all ages return to

the activities they enjoy, whether that means competing at a high level, returning to work, or

simply maintaining an active lifestyle.

Dr. Stiene earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in 2014 before

through fellowship training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the University of Kentucky in

2026.

Inspired by his own experiences with sports injuries while playing baseball in high school, Dr.

Stiene pursued orthopaedics to combine his passion for athletics with his desire to help patients

recover and regain function. He enjoys working with recreational and competitive athletes and is

equally committed to helping patients return to work and daily activities that are meaningful to

them.

Dr. Stiene provides comprehensive care for a wide range of shoulder and knee conditions,

including upper extremity tendon injuries, rotator cuff tears, shoulder labral injuries,

acromioclavicular joint injuries, clavicle fractures, shoulder arthritis, lower extremity tendon

injuries, knee arthritis, ligament injuries, meniscus tears, patellar instability, and cartilage

disorders. His clinical interests include Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, shoulder replacement, and

knee replacement surgery.

His most common procedures include rotator cuff repair, shoulder labrum repair, shoulder

replacement, tendon repair procedures, ligamentous knee reconstruction, meniscus repair and

partial meniscectomies, patellar stabilization procedures, knee cartilage restoration, and primary

total knee replacement. Dr. Stiene emphasizes individualized treatment plans designed around

each patient's specific goals, whether nonoperative management or surgical intervention is the

best path forward.

In addition to surgical care, Dr. Stiene offers comprehensive orthopaedic services including

outpatient surgery, digital imaging, MRI evaluation, joint injections, and physical therapy

coordination.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Stiene enjoys golf, fitness, chess, and spending time with his wife, cat,

and dog. His patient-centered approach, sports medicine expertise, and commitment to
