There are many causes of orthopaedic injuries and conditions which can result from accidents or heredity; both things that are out of your control. But, another reason orthopaedic conditions occur is due to obesity; which is one thing you can control. TOI is a huge proponent of preventative measure to reduce your chances of injuries. That is why we want to share this important study we found linking obesity to increased orthopaedic conditions and surgical complications.
