TOI Physical Therapy Raises Awareness of Prostate Cancer with No-Shave November

by TOI Admin November 19, 2014

No-Shave November is the iconic male movement that raises awareness for men’s health issues, primarily towards prostate cancer. The tradition first began in Australia in 2004 when a group of 30 men grew out their mustaches to raise cancer awareness, embracing the hair that many cancer patients lose.

Today, No-Shave November has evolved from this origin into an internationally recognized movement that continues to advocate for cancers and other health conditions prominent in men. Related conditions include testicular cancer, mental health status and heart disease.
