The Orthopaedic Institute announces that Zakariah S. Mahmood, M.D., has joined its group of 26 fully trained, experienced, specialty physicians providing the complete spectrum of musculoskeletal care.
TOI has four full service clinics throughout North Florida. Dr. Mahmood is practicing out of The Orthopaedic Institute’s Ocala office.
Dr. Mahmood graduated from the Miller School of Medicine at The University of Miami, where he also completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency. Recently, he concluded his Fellowship Training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Mahmood is board eligible with areas of clinical interest in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery, general Orthopaedic Surgery, Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery.
Dr. Mahmood is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
