Physician group continues to grow with new orthopaedic surgeon and larger facility
The Orthopaedic Institute (TOI) announces that Michael K. Riley, M.D., has joined its group of 23 fully trained, experienced, specialty physicians providing the complete spectrum of musculoskeletal care.
TOI has four locations throughout North Florida. Dr. Riley is practicing in the Ocala office, along with physicians Joseph Locker, M.D., Marc Rogers, D.O., Paul Rucinski, M.D., Rodger Powell, M.D., and Mark Petty, M.D. To accommodate its growth, TOI is constructing a new, 16,000-square-foot facility located at 1710 South East 16th Avenue, which will be completed in July.
"We are very excited to have Dr. Riley join the team," said Eric Brill, CEO of The Orthopaedic Institute. "His affiliation with our group and the construction of our new medical office complex are major steps in our plan to further invest in the community and provide more comprehensive services to patients."
Dr. Riley is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, and his areas of clinical interest include shoulder replacement, sports medicine, arthroscopy, total hip replacement and total knee replacement. Dr. Riley graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his internship and residency at Shands at the University of Florida.
Dr. Riley is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and also serves on the Continuing Medical Education Committee at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
