The Orthopaedic Institute’s Dr. Jason Rosenberg, board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, was selected by Gov.-elect Rick Scott as one of about 70 advisors on his transition team on Wednesday.
Scott elected a team of people to help him with health care policy and law enforcement issues. Dr. Rosenberg was appointed to the Health and Human Services transition team alongside a team of Florida health care professionals and business leaders. In 2008, Gov. Charlie Crist appointed Dr. Rosenberg as a member of the Florida Board of Medicine, which he continues to serve on today.
The team’s mission is to help identify ways to lower health care costs and transform the delivery of health services by identifying innovative ideas from the private sector, success stories from other states and cost-saving initiatives.
The Orthopaedic Institute congratulates Dr. Rosenberg on this exciting opportunity to make an impact on Florida health care.
